Hardy is a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and has had several business courses at Pennsylvania State University. “I would have been disappointed if I was unopposed because, after all, this is a two-party system,” he said. Hardy said he both expected and welcomed his write-in challenger. He was appointed to finish an uncompleted supervisor term and has served an additional two years after being elected to the post.
